Each of the above editions is issued with a signed copy of "The Last British Dambuster."
Britain’s last surviving Dambuster and one of the very few men who can recall first-hand the most daring and ingenious air raid of all time – relives the fateful night of 16 / 17 May 1943.
He recalls with unique wit and insight the difficult training conducted in secrecy, the race against time to release the bombs, and the sheer strength and bravery shown by a small unit faced with great adversity and uncertainty. Embodying a whole squadron, and leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come, 'Johnny’s' story is like no other.
With all the components of the Limited Edition, each print has been conservation matted to include the original signatures of two veterans who took part in the Dambusters Raid:
There are few better ways to acquire Richard’s original work than with an exquisite pencil remarque hand drawn in the border of the print.
The remarques are matted to include the same Dambusters signatures as the Collectors edition shown above.
