A Limited Edition print providing a fitting tribute to the Eighth Air force Bomber Crews who fought the skies above Europe in World War 2
This Nicolas Trudgian painting shows a B-17G of the 447th Bomb Group, damaged from battle, on final approach to Rattlesden. This B-17G, escorted by a P-51 pilot from the 359th Fighter Group, is returning from a strike against road and rail communications in northern Germany in February, 1945.
Every print of Return to Rattlesden is signed by the artist, and eight combat crew veterans flying B-17 Flying Fortresses for the 447th BG out of Rattlesden, England, during World War 11.
